RAF Scampton Historical Museum: Scampton's museum was created in Aug 1993 and is based in the Station Headquarters. It is run on a voluntary basis and no admission is charged. Tours of the Museum and Station take place throughout the year, normally at weekends. For further details see the RAF Scampton station website. (link in right hand column). The museum attracted over 8000 visitor last year. There are also original letters from Guy Gibson and other Dambusters memorabilia on display. Open: Year round Mon-Sat 0900-1700, Sun 1000-1500. Admission: Free Tel.: 01522 731333
