1942 - 7 Oct 1942 1485 Bombing and Gunnery Flt :: Aug 1943 - Nov 1943 619 Sqn RAAF:: Jun 1945 - 18 Jul 1945 463 Sqn RAAF :: Jun 1945 - 25 Sep 1945 383 MU :: Jun 1945 - Sep 1945 58 MU :: 1945 - A 50 Sqn detachment arrived in Oct 1941 before airfield construction was complete, followed by the remained of the Sqn the following month. 50 Sqn and 61 Sqn departed for RAF Sturgate in Jun 1945. Thereafter 619 and 463 Sqn RAAF, supported by 383 MU were assigned to the Tiger Force for the Far East. After 619 and 463 Sqn departed the airfield was used as a satellite of 1660 HCU at Swinderby.
